Conducting Courses
Instrumental Conducting Courses - Peter Stark’s courses are short, intensive and focus on the individual. By operating in small groups (maximum eight students) emphasis is placed on observing individual skills and difficulties as demonstrated in workshop sessions. Communication, baton technique and posture (Alexander Technique included) are at the heart of the work.

Currently...
Peter has enjoyed two magnificent and successful trips since Christmas. One trip was to conduct a prestigious concert in Oman and the second, more recently, was to work with the Malta Philharmonic at the historic Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. Peter is now glad to be back in the UK for a while to work on other projects but will be jetting off to Scandinavia and Spain quite soon, for European Union Youth Orchestra auditions. So the passport remains warm and extremely well used! Peter enjoys the travelling, in fact increasingly so but he is still working hard to write his book in between times! This has enjoyed some attention recently resulting in a crescendo of motivation to finish, finally, that first draft!
